SK encar - Foreigners in Korea

Every customer who're interested in Encar vehicle, should come to our office and check by themselves before purchase the car.
We would like to recommend you to come with Korean freinds since lots of sales person in Encar center cannot speak in English very well.
But if you don't have any person who will take care of you, then Encar export sales team will help you to translate by phone.

* Encar Vehicle / Other dealer's vehicle
This manual is for Encar Vehicle. We take care of Encar vehicles which are in our inventory.
If the vehicle belongs to Other Dealer's Inventory, we just inform you dealer's contact information.
And we don't provide any service for those stock.
(such as purchasing & ownership transfer guide, insurance, and warranty…etc)


	Leave a buying request or inquiry on the webpage, receive a information on your e-mail
	Make an appointment(visit day and time) with Encar sales person
	Prepare the Documents for buying cars.
	Visit Encar Center. (You can check the direction from Encar website)
	Check the car by yourself, and get more details from the sales person.
	Get Insurance quotation. (with your ID card) (You also can ask about 'Ownership transfer charge' for that car)
	Make payment for the vehicle.


For making deal smooth, we would like to recommend you to pay by cash. Because foreign company's Credit card doesn't work sometimes. For the first visit, you just can make deposit(about 200000 won) for holding the car, and in a couple of days later, you may finish the balance and take the car. (You also can make payment 100% at once.)	Encar Networks provides warranty for our stock. 3 months - 5000Km (1month -2000Km) (for Engine/Transmission)


	You will get Insurance fee quotation when you visit our center. It relys on personal insurance record, (around 1,000,000 won), and generally in Korea, they get one-year insurance. * You should finish Ownership Transfer visiting gu-Office (in Seoul) or Vehicle Registration Office(other area) within 15 days after purchase. * Ownership transfer fee, is about 8% of total. (It's fixed by Government)
- ID Card - Certificate of residence registration (issued by Immigration Office)

- Encar Service Charge : 33,000won - Insurance charge

Ownership transfer procedure is quite complicated even for Korean.
Some people cannot do it themselves when they're too busy to go.
For those people, we're providing the service for ownership tranfer
instead of our customers, with 40,000 ~ 110,000 won of service fee.

But it doesn't mean that every person can get the service.
Because some specific Office doesn't allow it(In fact, present owner
should do every procedure by him/herself).
Therefore, you'd better ask to sales person who's in charge of the car,
and he'll inform you whther you can get this service or not.

If the Office in area where you buy the car (or where you're staying)
allows to this service, then you shall prepare below document(Issued
by Immigration Office).

* Certificate of residence registration or
Certificate of foreigner registration
